Spherical rotating cowl is used in chimney ventilation ducts. It is made in diameter 150-400mm. It supports airflow by negative pressure in ventilation duct and they protect from back flow. Second use of cowl is rainfall protection. Chimney cowls are particularly useful in wind-loaded zones, in areas exposed to changing winds and descending winds.
