Back valve for industrial fans / kitchen hoods

Made of durable plastic, the airtight back valve provides effective protection against air backflow.

- a valve designed for industrial fans, kitchen hoods or other ventilation systems (e.g., systems connected to a shared ventilation shaft where odors can spread to neighboring apartments)
- made of durable plastic
- the neodymium magnet closure prevents accidental opening of the valve, increasing its tightness, while the screw allows for adjustment of the closing force
- the silicone membrane, due to its shape, adheres better to the valve structure, enhancing its effectiveness when closed
- seal made of rubber (the back valve for the flat duct 07-193, due to a different installation method, does not have a gasket)
A back valve is a ventilation component installed in the ventilation duct to prevent air backflow. When the fan is not in operation, air from the ventilation system or from outside can flow into the fan, leading to a range of undesirable effects – from cooling down the room, the ingress of dirty air during winter, and unpleasant odors, to the spread of mold and fungi that have settled within the ventilation system.
The back valve ensures airflow in only one direction without significantly reducing the fan’s efficiency.

During the installation of the back valve, attention should be paid to the valve’s angle of inclination and the direction of airflow.
