dRim ceiling air supply-exhaust valve

![]()
dRim ceiling air supply-exhaust valve are ceiling ventilation grilles with a dRim panel, designed to properly distribute air throughout the room from above. They are used as components of mechanical ventilation systems in internal ventilation ducts, suspended ceilings, and indoor ventilation systems.
An additional advantage of these air valves is the ability to adjust the airflow or completely shut it off. This is particularly important in rooms periodically exposed to high humidity and during the winter season. The air valves are recommended for installation in spiro ducts and other round ventilation systems. They also allow for the installation of a filter.
The dRim ceiling air supply-exhaust valve consists of three elements: a mounting frame, a housing, and a plate for airflow regulation (a dedicated dRim panel mounted on the plate must be purchased separately). The plate enables precise adjustment of the amount of airflow according to the ventilation needs of the room.

Installation of the ceiling air supply-exhaust valve is quick and easy. Only 3 screws are needed to fix the mounting frame. After securing the frame in the opening (1), insert the housing into the mounting frame by placing the mounting element on the housing into the slot in the frame, press the housing towards the ceiling (2), and then rotate it clockwise until you hear a characteristic click (3), indicating correct installation. Attach the panel to the plate by sliding the panel’s mounting element onto the plate mount (4). Screw the plate with the panel into the housing by turning it clockwise (5,6). Adjust the airflow by rotating the plate with the panel.
When opening the airflow from the fully closed position (the regulating disc is tightly pressed against the air valve body), hold the air valve body in place and turn the regulating disc counterclockwise to prevent the body from loosening.

Thanks to its multi-part design, the air valve can be easily disassembled for filter installation and replacement, cleaning, and maintenance of the ventilation system. Simply press the housing with the plate towards the ceiling, turn it counterclockwise, and remove it from the mounting frame.
